Entangled Grasp
What started as a collection of hand studies quickly grew into something more. Made up of over 20 double sided pieces suspended from the ceiling, as the viewer walks by, each hand slowly turns and moves. As they turn each hand casts a shadow that dances upon the wall, as if reaching out and pulling away from one another.
Having been featured in both the Martin-Mullen Gallery at SUNY Oneonta and The Smithy Gallery in Cooperstown NY no two instillation are exactly the same. Each hand can be hung and moved independently, rearranged into new compositions to fit the space they occupy.
